Free reality check

Your type vs. the actual planet.

Tell us who you are, who you want and how picky you feel today. We count the humans who really exist, subtract everyone who is already taken, and hand you one honest number.

Every extra requirement shrinks the crowd. Open a tab, tap a few things and watch the number react.

Where everybody disappears

Each requirement closes a door behind somebody. Bars use a log scale, because a linear one would just be rude.

Which requirement is costing you the most?

We re-ran your search without each requirement, one at a time. Dropping these would multiply your pool the most.

      Method & sources →
      Is this real data?

It is real statistics put through honest maths. We combine public numbers on population, age, marriage, height, income, wealth, body shape, education and lifestyle from sources like the UN, World Bank, WHO and national surveys, then model how the traits overlap. The result is an estimate, not a census of your future partner.

Why is the number so small?

Because filters stack. Being tall, employed, single, in your age range and into your gender is a surprisingly short list. We also dampen the maths so correlated traits (income and age, for example) are not multiplied as if they were independent. Even so, long lists end in small numbers. That is the point of the toy.

How do you know who is married or in a relationship?

We do not know anyone in particular. We use the share of people in each age group and sex who are married or living in a committed relationship in your country. Those shares are applied to everyone who matches your list.

      Do you store my answers?

No profile, no account, no analytics. Your choices live in the page address and in your browser, and travel to our server only to compute the numbers. Details are on the privacy page.

Why is there no ethnicity filter?

On purpose. Sorting people by race is not a game we want to host. Hair and eye colour are there because they are looks preferences that the maths can model with population averages. Everything is meant as a playful reality check, never a ranking of human worth.

      What about non-binary people?

Most official statistics still record two sexes, so the maths only has two to work with. We know that is incomplete, and we are working on better data. If you are looking for someone outside that frame, treat the numbers as a rough guide.

      Is this a dating app?

No. It is a mirror with a calculator attached. The dating-app part may come later (see the teaser above).
